Legal / Disclaimer
This site is for responsible adult traders only. If you cannot agree to these terms, please go elsewhere.
I am not responsible for your trading. You are 100% responsible for any trades you make. You can’t hold me liable for any trading losses (or gains) even if you make them after reading something on this site. In fact, if you are not mature enough to accept 100% responsibility for your own trading, you probably shouldn’t trade at all. Pick a less risky hobby, like scrapbooking.
I am not your advisor or broker. I don’t give trading advice, and I’m not registered to do so. Nor am I a broker. Nothing here should be taken as a recommendation to buy or sell anything. I discuss my own trades and thoughts for informational and educational purposes only. If you want an advisor, get one. But don’t ask me. I don’t know you or what is suitable for you.
I don’t guarantee accuracy. My predictions, prognostications, and thoughts will often be wrong. Hopefully they will more often be correct, but no guarantees. For everything else, I try to get the facts correct and rely on sources I believe to be accurate, but there will be mistakes made here too. If you think I am wrong factually or otherwise drop me a polite note.
Position disclosures will not usually be updated. With each post, I disclose my position as of the time of posting. These disclosures will not be updated most of the time, and as a result might not reflect my holdings when you read a given post. Don’t assume anything about my positions. If you really need to know, drop me a line, and I’ll consider your request.
Certain situations could present conflicts. I don’t usually tell readers of trades I am going to place before I place them. That goes for sell orders as well as buy orders. I could benefit if readers take a position in a stock I own, sending the price higher. When I sell a stock, it is possible that I am taking a position that is contrary to yours. (Vice versa to all of the above for short positions discussed). All of these situations could present conflicts, and there are probably other potential conflicts not mentioned.
Trading is risky. All of the ideas I discuss should be considered speculative, in case you couldn’t figure that out from the title. That means it very likely could go wrong, and if you trade the idea you could lose a lot of money.
Some trading results discussed will be hypothetical. Sometimes I will discuss hypothetical results, particularly (but not only) in my discussions of trading systems. If I don’t specifically identify a trade as my own, you should consider the results hypothetical. There are all sorts of pitfalls with hypothetical results that could make them very different from real-world trading. Don’t assume otherwise.
I don’t vouch for any comments, linked sites or advertisements.
