Unusual volume in United American Healthcare Corp. (UAHC)

United American Healthcare Corp. (Nasdaq:UAHC) is a small Tennessee managed-care provider.  For its investors, UAHC has been a house of pain, declining from over $9 in late 2007 to just above $1 last fall.  Fundamentally, United American is reeling from the loss of a contract with TennCare.  But recently, UAHC shares have stabilized.  Though UAHC normally trades less than 30,000 shares per day, today over 450,000 shares exchanged hands:

No news was announced today (as far as I can tell though I am traveling and do not have Bloomberg terminal access) that would explain a 1500% volume surge.  The volume  spikes may be the “footprints” of institutional investors moving in and out of the stock.   In February, Willow Creek hedge fund took a 10% stake. I’m not a buyer here but I’m adding UAHC to my watch list.

DISCLOSURE: No position.

I have bought UAHC at 1,05 ,in my opinion UAHC is strong buy!

    Today’s data:

    Market Cap (intraday)5: 8.54M
    Total Cash (mrq): 14.92M
    Total Debt (mrq): 0

So the company has no debt and it has more cash the market capitalization.
If UAHC would be liquited today,I will have more money that I invested!

On 24 UAHC will report the earnings and investors will finally notice that, even if,the earnings will not be very good, the company is incredibly unrevalued:people will start to buy and the price will double!

    UAHC:STRONG BUY
