• KVH Industries Inc. Q2 2008 Earnings Call Transcript – Seeking Alpha – KVH Industries (Nasdaq:KVHI) posted record Q2 profit despite slumping sales in the RV division.
• LJ International Inc. Announces Filing of a Universal Shelf Registration Statement – So tiny LJ International (Nasdaq:JADE) with a market cap. under $45 million intends to sell $100M worth of securities as its stock flounders. Dilutionville, straight ahead.
• Letter to Shareholders from Patriot Scientific President/CEO Rick Goerner – Patriot Scientific (OTCBB:PTSC) CEO says the company will look to acquire new IP licensing opportunities, minority investments, acquisitions, and will improve shareholder communications. So everything is on the table…sounds like no plan at all.
• Synalloy Corporation Announces Strong Second Quarter Results – Microcap chemical and specialty steel company Synalloy (Nasdaq:SYNL) posted good numbers. Not quite the blowout figures we saw last year, but then again the stock is almost 2/3 off its peak. I may be a buyer today.
• China 3C Group Finally Turns a Corner – Blogger China OTC Player (via Seeking Alpha) thinks China 3C Group (OTCBB:CHCG) could earn $.50 in 2008. If this estimate is even close, then my $4 target is too low.
